Notes About The Poem

Written on April 18th for Unseeking Seeker's contest I am Poetry

I am

I breathe in a millennium of the cosmically divine As I dive into aquamarine waterfalls, Swimming in a secluded, shimmering lagoon. Dense canopies of evergreens carpet the indigo sky, Allowing flecks of amber light to shine through. The melodious hymns of Gaia's gifts are beckoning me. Stepping upon freshly discovered petrichor, The energy of a thousand lifetimes before flows through me. Flashes of births and deaths float by on gilded winds, Reminding me that every spirit lingers long after the heart takes its last beat. For energy can never truly die. I am made of exploding supernovas— And from destruction comes rebirth.
