I Am......

I am a lot of things
I am a mother
I am a child 
I am a sister
I am a friend
I am someones lover
I am unfortunately someones wife
I am always afraid of doing the wrong thing and of making mistakes
I feel sooo much at one time
I feel loss 
I feel love 
I feel a burning hatred that runs sooo deep
I feel confusion of where I am going and what I am doing
I feel lost and without any understanding
I am who I am and what I am
I know I am not perfect and neither is anyone else
I am tired of being judged by my past
I made my mistakes don't want them thrown in my face
If I had not made those mistakes I would not be who I am
Take me or leave me I am who I am and make no more apologies
Love me, hate me I don't care anymore
I am tired of being nice and keeping my mouth shut
I am tired of not being allowed to be me
I am not an easy woman to love
I am complex and simple ALL at once
I want love and need love but will live without it if I have to
Take your best shot because I am.......ME!

Aleera De La Keur Date: 5/15/2009 1:11:00 AM I am what I am and that's all that I am, you and me both Tonto, (and Illy too), I think in my next life I want to be a football, so I can get kicked around some more. *sigh*, I just can't seem to get through this awful last two weeks, so much has been taken and I struggle to get out of bed everyday, and that is ME.....Eh take me out back and put me out of my misery, bury me under the pool.....(if only....) Remember, like you said you are who you are because of the experiences that you had and learned from. Forgive, and forget. God can do that very well. Men have to work on it.
