I ache in desperation
To cling closely
As if one with his shadow
I ache with envy
Each time his attention
I’m deprived of
Yet…
It’s held by someone else
I ache with separation
That comes and goes 
So easily to him
I ache for him
I ache because of him
I ache within
My ache is him
