I

Those lovely eyes. Just a glance and I'm filled with wonder.
Soft but smiling they lift my weariness and my heart is released.
Do they see me? It doesn't matter... Much.
I feel them touch me but with worry I wake and see the empty place.
The bed is relieved of you yet I long for one more touch from your warm hands.

The tree bends and sways.
Gone as the wind lifts the fallen tear.
I loved you as I raked your sorrow.
Snow and rain has covered your sadness .
And will make them new starting over.
