Hymn To Helios
I wake this day knowing there
is no space between God and me.
Already, part of eternity's mantle!
Just to be myself, naturally.
Even though fear and doubt
may appear as clouds to delay
or to stifle me.
Being fearlessly me, despite
opposition....
Was, and always will be, my
life's main concentration.
To please a group, to bow or
cow-tow,
Is a thing no poet nor human
should do.
You are already complete and
divinely, whole.
Wishing you a day of dancing
muses and the reflections of fresh,
scented, aromatic roses.
