Hymn For Her

I
wanted
to write
a hymn
for her.
A poem
that sings
her gentle
songs.
Prose that
justifies
and ignites
her eloquence.
I've endeavored
to carefully
piece together
the 26 letters
of the alphabet.
Rearranging
these slices and
strokes to
convey my
verdadero -
my vrai
for her.
But I can't.
For her
poetic alphabet
leaves
me
on tenterhooks -
breathless
and bedazzled.
She is
a treasure.
A perfectly
cut diamond.
And
when I
close my eyes
tonight,
I will inhale her
enchanting prose.
For I know
her beautiful heart
will always share
a soothing
sonnet -
a whimsical poem
or perhaps a
magical hymn...
from her
to us
for him

for me.

What a marvelous read from a blessed paged built on lines constructed with the lyrics of the skies and words well supported by dynamic foamy clouds. Message well expressed! No doubt an absolute 7##.

Indeed you have succeeded in writing your hymn for her....without needing to say even one letter of her name.......how could she not know when she reads this exquisite poem, that it is meant for her? Just lovely John....this is a beauty that will swell her heart! :) So nice to read your poetry again!!!!!!!!!!!
