Hymn

I long for you to come
To see and check on me
You will descend on high and from
The depths to rescue me.

In your word I do trust
Fresh comfort always found
Discipline my heart if you must
My knees bowed on the ground

Refine me in your time
Cleaning the sin from thee
Pardon my youth and worldly crimes
I follow faithfully

Help me forgive others
As you’ve forgiven me
Helping me to love my brothers
And sisters oh tirelessly
