Hussy

How cowardly could it be to Prefer to hurt everyone except yourself? Walking out the door when it gets too hot And everything is perfect Dark and blue lighting streaming into the blank faces glaring into the television of our lives What happens behind closed doors Drawn blinds Ebony Corridors Physical poetry blown out of proportion into dangerous schemes To leave before the system is rendered defenseless All the aches and bitter choking on addictive tendencies Packing up and leaving before it's too late To hand him the rope and tie it lovingly around his neck And watch him sway Its better this way, I say from underneath full lashes and a pout And he smiles and trusts me as he kicks the chair and Hangs, choking on my perfume lingering in the air Diabolical chemicals mixing up with miscommunication of misplaced love Blows me a last kiss I toss the match And he goes up in flames Walking away to find another sucker with cold hard cash and a surplus sex drive Noting his smile and eye color Tailor fitting the noose to perfection One after another Pushing the backs of chairs with quick stiletto heels Lines of brave men Dangling like leaves

Powerful and emotionally stirring. I can feel your pain and betrayal is a treacherous thing that haunts the heart and soul. Its hard to get over some things, as I am still not over what my husband put me through. I think I'm over it and then POOF its back with a vengeance. As if you can't tell by my writings. Hee Hee. Excellent, though, really. Aleera

JerryReed had a song, "When you're hot you're hot" Nice to see your name up there again. Great to have you back and with flying colors in this one. All I've got to say is "What a way to go!" God Bless. (I'm still allowed to say that. The liberals haven't taken over yet). Vince

Hi Bella this is the first time I've read your writes, in this one I can feel the raw pain an emotion coming through this write, sometimes people don't know that they had a good thing until it's too late, believe me when i say if he does not know it now, he will, and hopefully by then you will have had time to heal, nice write, take care dear, D-nyce

Hi Bella. Well wow, you are back with a vengeance. Powerful write, sensing a bit of anger here, and perhaps some of what you might like to do. : ) Then again perhaps this is about someone else. So much more to the love and mystery of poetry. Some awesome lines here. Great to read you again. Love, Shar

Hi Bella - Well I reckon more than one feller has gone out that way thinking "Man what a way to go" - now whether that thought is in a good or bad way is all left up to interpretation - Great to read you again - God bless
