Husband
She knew he would come;
with a bang on the door
he would come.
at times gay and merry
laughing with merriment
brimming with love
he would come
into her arms
with laughter
with joy
with love
he would come!
She knew he would come;
with a bang on the door
he would come.
most times fiery and belligerent
boiling with hatred
riding on blows and batters
he would come
into her body
with blows
with insults
with hatred
he would come!
