Husband

a husband
is your man
whose face you never tire of
whose scent is secret
whose voice lifts your life up
and makes you shiver to yourself
a husband
is your friend
your true one and only
and you know it the moment you look in his eyes
a husband is
a vulnerable man who knows before you know
whose eyes watch you for saftey and for signals
whose hand can steady you both with tears and beauty
a sure man
my husband

I love your poetry ....but you left out the part, "What's for dinner? Have you seen my keys? Where's my bowling ball and more importantly...not all scents are the same...LOL
