Hurting

HURTING

He hit me again and this time I couldn't stop it,
The last time he did it he promised he wouldn't do it again,
So I believed him.

Last night he choked me,
I could feel my breathe slip out slowly,
I guess he stopped when he saw my eyes gorged out,
I couldn't stop it.

Today morning he ripped my dress off,
I could feel him thrust himself in and out as he beat the out of me in between breaks,
I couldn't stop it.

Am helpless, weak, terrified,
Am afraid that my son will wake up to my lifeless body,
Am stuck, I can't stop it

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
