Hurt

I loved you with passion
But realised you were in motion
First you called it love!
Never a word of gratitude
You left me in solitude
illusioned by love.
I could not understand
Why you could not stand
The quality of my love.
You took me captive
Before I could see the motive
Since I was in illusion of love.
But now I know
It was just a show
You never love!
I could not play
I allowed you away
'coz that's the pain of love!

Well penned poem about deceptive love. The hurt seems so raw. Well done ~Warren
