Hurry To Him, Concubines

Burnished pheasant,
Repulsed by noon's bright sunshine,
Rasping brazenly,
Calls the plump hens to his side...
Hurry to him, concubines.

Why, thank-you, mam! ... The Burnished pheasant represents the emperor of course; repulsed by the hot sun he takes refugee in the cool. Rasping brazenly: rasping his commands...and who dares contradict an emperor? Bored, he seeks distraction...I leave the rest to your obvious vivid imagination. Lol. My very best regards, Maureen -- cheers! :) john
