Hurricane Sunday

Hurricane Sunday

The rest of us
were not interrupted..
But an entire state
was interrupted..
Living there once
we were cautioned:
residence here is living
with the hurricane
not if..but when..
When arrived early
 Sunday morning..

A wish for those there:
May the peace of the eye
be found in your hearts
and may the eye expand
calming your winds
and your waves
for a lasting peace
coming ashore on this
Hurricane Sunday...
