hurricane milton

crisp october morn
energizing my cellphone
rejuvenating

totally thankful
I dont live in florida
hurricane hank reigns

peace in my meadow
as others lose their housing
second hurricane

no power no food
we watch on our tv sets
fathoming it not

only its not hank
it is hurricane milton
floridas second blast
