Hurricane Haikus

Ocean depression Clouds pulled in by low pressure Suck inside moisture. Hurricane is born Eye follows the track blindly The trade wind decides. Distant shore attracts Hurricane rushes lands hard With windstorm and rains. High waves surge inland Storm flattens things on the way Rains flood the lowland. Homeless people stand On gloom and devastation Future uncertain. Trail of hurricane Furrows through the battered lives Nature does its job. Depression in life Turmoil lands as hurricane The mind does its job. September 8, 2017.
