Hurricane Bret

Come take all away this home of my toil rip it all down leave only the soil At 10pm Saturday you showed me the way to discard this life to force a new day I urge on the winds jumping with glee knowing before Bret I’ve no choice but flee The years here my pride my family calls home but also my exile from the life I’ve been shown So bring on the hurricane center eye on this realm command my decisions force me to helm I go now and rest to prepare the new day my dreams will sustain this storm lights my way The nimbus finally rise over my home on this beach 8 months I’ve been waiting straining the leash My shield is now strong I can vanquish all foes destroy this forced exile clear away her past woes The shoreline I’ve written of will now finally wash way portending the promise dawning new day
