Hunting Shadows
Errors of our ignorant past
burried in the coffin of soberness
and thrown into the pit of forgiveness
but as we journeyed through life with prudence
you then exhume as a terror
chasing our hope into a hole.
Hunting shadows oh hunting shadows;
the seeds of our aged misdeeds
buried in the soil of apology
and watered by the showers of mercy
why have you become a deadly tree
bringing forth the fruits of repercussion
while we are expecting the fruit of peace.
Hunting shadows oh hunting shadows
you stinged our past with tears
and hooked our today with fear
why chasing our future with death?
while you are suposed to have been dead.
You cruel arrow
do not kill our tender hope.
