Hunted

What do we do but hurt ourselves?

Life bears it fruit, we eat it well.

Days go by, the blue of sky, ever wonder why?

The mind plays tricks, sometimes it picks on its own host!

Some days you're here, somedays you're there, somedays you're nowhere.

Gravity changes the body's form. Time changes the body's mind.

What do we do to control our time?

What tricks we play, what lies we tell?

Do we bury our deceit, do we own our hell?

Do we stand and face our demons?

Do we sell ourselves for their crown?

Do we live in fear of living?

Do we hunt our own souls down?
