Squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine 
Circling 'round high for their breakfast hor d'oeuvres 
Filling their cheeks while their baby ted's whine 
Mewing and Keowing for what mother serves

Loner's afloat adrift on calm water 
Mewing and keowing for what mother serves 
Sitting on waves as they splash and swatter

Dipping their heads as they eye for a snatch 
Sitting on waves as they splash and swatter 
keowing and mewing in hopes for a catch
