Hungover

What have I done? I’ve had too much fun My mind is blank My hair smells rank I roll out of bed Pounding in my head The clank of glass bottles Still wearing beer goggles Stumble with gloom To the mirror in the bathroom I take a look both deep and superficial I look bleak Mascara on my cheek From tears shed Stamp on my forehead Branded a fool Clues to where I've been Look for my phone But I'm not alone I'm not at home I just realized What’s my prize? Winner Winner Chicken Dinner Guess I’m a sinner Now for the walk of shame Shoot this whorse She's become lame

This poem kind of reminds me of an Amy Winehouse video. I have had my moments. In this poem, raw honesty is your greatest tool. You give way more than is expected. I like your style Liberty...Keep the poems coming. PS or it reminds me of Carrie Underwood- Don't even know my last name song...

Did you party with the fraternity brothers of Delta House at Faber College? Nice descriptiveness in rather simple wording. I would consider this entry a "rhyme".

I suppose you're right. I guess I've gotten used to putting I don't know on everything. I'm pretty lazy that way. lol "If my love were a chicken it'd have no bones...." got to love animal house.
