Hungers Scorn
I fold like a sheet of paper,
I crumble in your embrace
I tremble in your presence
how time can not erase.
You're my sense of being,
the longing I faithfully need
the hunger deep and seething
that your love seems to feed.
Every ache is so unreal,
how could you ever doubt
without you it's painful
inside I scream and shout.
A fine line of desperation,
a plea upon your lips
cravings of a mad woman
I drink you sip by sip.
Could you let me hold you,
calm this beast in me
the hungry raging monster
please come and set her free.
