Hungers Scorn

I fold like a sheet of paper, I crumble in your embrace I tremble in your presence how time can not erase. You're my sense of being, the longing I faithfully need the hunger deep and seething that your love seems to feed. Every ache is so unreal, how could you ever doubt without you it's painful inside I scream and shout. A fine line of desperation, a plea upon your lips cravings of a mad woman I drink you sip by sip. Could you let me hold you, calm this beast in me the hungry raging monster please come and set her free. Written by; Jessica Thompson 10/29/19

This is intense!!! I get a vibe of strong love involved within this poem. I like the line “I fold like a sheet of paper.” It’s simple but it has a beautiful imagery to it once you think deeply about it.
