Hunger
Hopeless eyes
Line the roads
Like begging bowels
Empty, seeking, searching
Looking for life
Driven by primitive need
Empty swollen bellies
Wayward spindly waif's
Collected by the score
Death smiles on all
Is their only friend
Wring hands, say prayers
What could be, should be
When affluence toasts the day
Decorator homes
Cocktails, dinner and modest tip
CEO's corporate package
Outweighs hunger
Earth's broken heart
Too many, love
Prayer, need
Make a donation
A dollar will do
Feed my children
Weep together
Hand in hand
More then earth can bear
