Waiting to see my ruby delights Magical hummers buzzing in flight Tiny feathers glisten in sunlight Sparkle like gems of emeralds and rubies Beautiful creatures fast and sprite Zooming and buzzing sounds Searching for nectar, whispers of songs I have no doubt, it won’t be long Before they feel the pull Of flowers in bloom and feeders full One has landed, but only for a moment Staring out my window, what a sight I am seduced, vibrant hues so potent Until next time, I will be Waiting to see my ruby delights Magical hummers buzzing in flight
