Humility
I am a creature, created through gods will and by his hand,
I present myself as an open vessel at his command,
So he can manifest his power and goodness through me,
An empty vessel filled with Christ who taught us humility
When I see how truly god is all, I sense entire nothingness,
My ideas and my thoughts are gone, ask to him I must confess,
God doesn’t Bestow on us humility, it isn’t something that we bring,
It’s acknowledging our position and worshipping him as king
I will make humility a practice, through faith and prayer and love,
I will take guidance from my Jesus up in heaven above,
He showed us True humility as upon the cross he died
I pray for humility like he has
The lamb who was crucified
