Humble Reminders

HUMBLE REMINDERS Somewhere deep inside we know the truth all that we are—all that we own is a gift our drive and wisdom received by our Creator we take credit denying His generosity—from youth None of us asked to be born—specified conditions did not choose our talents—our physical features nor select our place of birth or language spoken perhaps productively choosing paths and ambitions Circumstances or emotions controlling relationship choices esteeming prestige--status for blessings God has given us taking pride in our work--displaying accomplishments advertising abilities with conceited and arrogant voices As people created we perform as parallel creators procuring credit denying Gods authority, power—generosity His love will gently correct us—undo selfish pride keeping us humble—opening loving arms He awaits us
