Humble Pride
Doused in depression's dangerous zone
Feeling so afraid of being left all alone
Negative thoughts like these cannot be all that...natural
No longer caught up in swish-swooshing waves of appall
In the universe of tragedy in reverse,
I spin and twirl like a ballet dancer
Curiosity got me going crazy these days
While you're having your way...my wild spirit strays and sways
Don't prey upon my optimism
You're an outlandish organism
I am rapidly rolling on the hills,
Popping positivity pills
Popping positivity pills
A natural high
A drug-free glee
Joy is ours to cherish
My wish is to be in your net like a flippity-floppity fish
Happiness is technically a million miles away
But, our temporary bliss is a cheery cloud today
Delightfulness is after teardrops collide
Can't hide from the truth behind the eyes...take humble pride
Childlike is adequate to our hearts of adulthood
We know for certain that it is, well, mostly good
Extremely reckless and bothersome -
We're not even close to that, like some
I love you and your craziness
I love you and your weirdness
I love you and your elegance
I love you and your radiance
You are the moon's mysterious shadow
I am the sun's shimmering reflection aglow
You will never know...
What it's like to be in my sunrays
Nor will I know...
What it's like to be in your moonrays
God should be crowned with glory, grace and honor
Dealing with hope and fear...don't mind being a loner
My positive mindset doesn't get me feeling uneasy and upset
Thank you, oh thank you kindly for Your brilliant, precious outlet
To a better Way of Life
A life without any strife
A life I take with so much humble pride,
Awaiting my one and only gorgeous future bride
Caught up in the breeze of at-ease
Make this last forevermore please!
Depression destroyed my happiness
So, cast away the oblivion of distress
Make me whole with humble pride
Prepare for me a place to boldly hide
Trying to figure my way out of lies' hold
Crying an ocean in motion for you truth be told...

At least I sincerely tried
You and I will press on...yes, do press on
From darksome dusk to delightful dawn
At least I sincerely tried
To get you by my side
Back on track to eternal life
Will you be my wonderful wife?
Feeling so alive and grateful that I'm not alone
Nor am I completely on my own in the unknown
Your waves of peace and war
Means there's hope in store
You still manage to move me to the core...
So, will you do that some more?
You, my darling boo, are the one
That I adore, for we are moon and sun
Together battling depression's danger zone
In prayer, I sensed that you and I are not alone
I take that in in humility and meekness
You take pride in what He does in gladness
Together, we are humble pride
Meant to be husband and bride
All night, we will love each other
All day, we will be happily together
Unconditionally...
He approves and understands
Forever, eternally,
We passionately kiss and lock hands
I didn't know our silly little lives would make it thus far...
I haven't a clue our desires and dreams would be met
I didn't know I would have a perfect house, a beautiful wife and an exquisite car
Grateful that I am not way too far into debt and past regret
That would make us upset I bet!!
Forever, eternally,
You abide by my side
My love for you is as countless as the sand of the sea
We passionately kiss and lock hands in paradise ecstasy
