Human Feeling

This feeling keeps hunting me every week
I just let it chase me like a prey

At some point I give in into its arms
A hug covers all my body
Always warm at start, ending cold and empty without fail

Don’t know why it hasn’t vanished
Don’t know if it’s as bad as they told me, neither as good as I heard

The longing is it’s satisfaction
Mine too
After the hug it comes the long-lasting kiss

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
