Human Ear
The human animal in its pride.
If a tree falls when
None is by to hear,
Does it make a sound.
More acute creatures than thee,
In thousands throng
Communed to a trees
Glorious life.
Your insolent ear
Fresh grown,
Stands by,
Irrelevant.
