Human Complexion

What is the human complexion
    Much more than color of skin
Fragile, fierce and nuanced
    A reflection from within

A million moving pieces
    Catalyzed by everything
Creating combinations
     Tied up like a ball of string

How to learn, accept and grow
     How to understand
The complex in complexion
     Of our wondrous fellow man
