Human Being Here

She came and
Kissed me today
But still
My gaze
Was locked
She reaffirmed
My being
Human
Here
It gave me courage
Strength
Purpose
Where there seemed
None of
Being
Human
Here
I am a rich man
As I have more
Than all
But it doesn’t
Make me feel happy
Just a bit sad of
Being
Human
Here
I wish I could show
The love
That’s all around
Human
Beings
Here
But they seem to busy
With consuming
Everything that is near
These
Human
Beings
Here
They get so much
Enjoyment, entertainment
From suffering
From hatred
From war, violence and division
That’s why it continues
For the
Human
Beings
Here
They love themselves
More than others
Which will never change
As that’s what it is
To be
Human
Being
Here
Forever childish
Immature, selfish
Forever perpetual war
With themselves and neighbours
While raping nature and
Proclaiming a higher mentor
Those liars
Human
Beings
Here
Tis time of hope
But really is there
Action is
But the couch has
A greater hold of
Human
Beings
Here
She came and
Kissed me today
While it brought
Me back to pure
Away from smothering
Corruption
It just reminds me
Of how rich I am
Richer than any
Human
Beings
Here
