Human Being

I am but a speck of dirt,
In the cosmos and this universe
On this place, orbiting a sun
I am but sand, a human being
Sand that thinks of itself a mountain
The wind can pick me up and drop me,
All that at its will

Hello Arastu, I like your metaphor in the first line that gets extended to sand and the wind that has the power to move. A fine write that conveys human frailty in the face of forceful nature. I enjoyed reading your posting. Be well. Brian
