Human
You expect me to be perfect
You expect me to be kind
You expect me to go through life
Walking in a straight line
You don’t want to see my tears
Or know any of my fears
You just expect me to plaster a smile
And stay like that for a while
But I can’t
I am not a robot
I am human
I am not always walking the perfect line
I am not always kind
I laugh
I cry and I smile
I’ve shed many tears
And have tons of fears
I’m a colorful mess and a beautiful wreck
I am human
Nothing more nothing less
