Hugs
There was a lady named Sadie
So sweet was she
She hugged everyone she met
No matter who they be
She hugged the butcher, the baker
The candlestick maker
She hugged the gardener, the post man
the man in the van
She hugged the dog, the cat
the man in the hat
The bus driver, the diver
Her neighbor's little brat
So when I passed by the old oak tree
And saw her waiting patiently
I knew that sweet Sadie
Was saving her best hug for me
