Hugs

My arms onced embraced your love

But then you grew a coldness for me

I watched you hug your friends and smile

But for me there was a declaration
that you didn't like my smell

I tried to hold you in my arms
against shoves and pushing back

Whatever happened to our love
the days where interlocked hands existed

Now we are seperated
and my open arms give way to open space

I love you and miss you so so much
Will we ever hug again?

Its always hardest when you weren't the one that decided to part. Well written Robert. A heartfelt poem.
