Hugging Means Everything To Some

Hugging means everything to some It is shunned by a few I feel sorry for those who cannot hug I had to teach my mother how to hug me She never could when I was a child But she could hug my children readily I observed this and began to hug her first. The first few times I hugged her, she flinched. It may have taken ten or eleven goodbye hugs I knew that she caught on, and liked it. because she began reaching for me first. These were the best hugs, the ones I needed the most. The ones I missed growing up. The ones that would have soothed me in so many ways. Now my mother is gone. It has been two years since I had one of her hugs. When I get to heaven I hope to have them again. They meant everything to my child within.

I would hug for just that sec too long and mom would push me away. Her mom was not a hugger. But my mom would sit close and could be handsy in the dept store dressing room…lol. Love and miss my mom…all who she is! Hugs to you, dear Caren!

And I likewise love to talk to my mom’s two sisters. God’s gifts.

Thank you Kim. I have gotten closer to my 85 year old aunt because her voice inflections are exactly like my mother's.
