Cheyenne Kay Poet Light Verse

Hues To Blues

Its perfect here.
     I love it.
     Here...Peace and serenity fill and warm my heart.
     Out here...Its like Im someone else.
     Its so calm.
     Its a place where I can finally find myself.
         That was before.
         This is after.
     Here it was green and every hue you could imagine.
     Now...Its black and ash.
     You knew I loved it so you took it.
     You took it from me.
     I've lost it.
     I've lost myself.
     You took this cluster of nature from me.
     And with it you took a peice of me.
     With or without you,
     I'm stronger.
     Although its nothing,
     but black ash and smoke,
     I still love it here.
     I will come here
     and loose myself as I did before,
     Even though it is after.
