How?...How Can I Forgive You?

My heart's rotten as a Hell
Feeling blue from head to toe
I cannot fathom my anger for you
From fire everlasting….amen!

Anger resides on me..day and night
Any second can be any moment at all
Fire...Demons...Hell..Evil...
Is it?

You came to me for my forgiveness
You showed tears to soften my heart
You tell lies beyond my imagination to believe
You tried everything as Hell for my forgiveness.

But how?....how can I forgive you?
How can I forgive when you hurt my feelings?
...my soul?...my being?...

Before...

You make me feel strong when you kissed me
You make me feel the earth move when you embraced me
You make me happy the way I wanted it to be
Yes...that's past...

But how to forgive you?....now...and...forever?
God knows...

Diane Christian May 9, 2009 at 8:41 AM aww a sad but powerful poem, it is hard to forgive when people hurt us or hurt our loved ones, but in Gods strength we can, we can forgive through him who gives us strength, i feel your heartache my friend, we can forgive them move on and just be civil and keep things at arms length it is hard but he will help you,. anyway God bless you from diane
