How'd You Keep Loving Me

Our marriage is on life support
Barely hanging on by a thread
Do we try to fix all these wrongs
Or go our separate ways instead

We're not the same people we were
Back then on our wedding day
Over time we've hurt each other
Is caused our love to start to fray

When I look at you I'll forever see
That beautiful woman who I adore
Who showed me what real love is
That give me a purpose to live for

All my mistakes they changed you
Leaving scars your heart must bear
I ask myself how and why I ever did
It was never my intentions I swear

You never deserved all that I done
I broke your heart and mine as well
And I apologize for ever hurting you
And making our marriage such a Hell

And this time when you walked out
It was my heart breaking instead
I'm the one crying myself to sleep
Hurting so bad I wish I were dead

I deserve all this pain and heartache
I know you must have felt it before
I'm only reaping all that I have sown
I deserve all of this and even more

Looking at all I put you through
How did you keep on loving me
With a love full of such devotion
Knowing I caused you such misery
