How You Make Me Feel
It's your presence that brightens
Your smile so contagious
Infecting me - absorbing you
I had been deficient but now I have you
You are the inspiration
You are the drive
You are the key to the potential in me
Upside down and inside out
My world has a different view
Because of you
I could see the possibilities
Always seemed out of reach
Because of you - I have the key
To open the door and be set free
Its the confidence you give me
To achieve almost anything
You see beyond the surface
You hear me even when I'm quiet
Intuitive to my thoughts
Sensing when the cogs turn
It's how you want to know every part of me
You are the sunshine even in the cold
You are the strength when I feel weak
You are the confidence when I feel fear
You are the clarity when I'm at a crossroad
You are the vision when all I see is fog
You are the man in my dreams
A man that I always wished to exist
YOU are so much more than my words can ever say.....
