How Would You Like Your Reasons

I have a millions reasons why I keep my love from you
Because I'm feeling nice today, I'll give you one or two
Or maybe I'll recite them all, the least that you deserve
A big cold dish of revenge is the only thing I'll serve

Keep your disgusting mouth closed, lie to me no more
I'm sure there's infinate reasons, I've not been keeping score
Would you like them laid in categories, scattered on the floor
Perhaps on headed paper and posted through your door

Shouted from the rooftops, or whispered in your ear
Shrieked in such a high pitched voice that only dogs can hear
Mailed from half the world away may still seem too near
I'll spell out every reason in blood and sweat and tears

Would you like them round your throat, knotted like a noose
Projecting them in 3D, to give your jealous eyes a use
Tried to use them to restrain you but my reasons were too loose
And when you decline these reasons, I'll make up an excuse.
