How To Waste Your Money

How to Waste Your Money

By Elton Camp

On a pair of shoes, for a warranty would you pay?
Or just wear them until it’s time to throw them away?
So why buy an extended warranty on anything cheap?
It’s far better to take a chance and your money to keep

Most of the time, you will end up disgusted and sad
If you buy anything on the basis of a television ad
And if it offers two for an additional shipping charge
Often too late, you find out that charge is quite large

A traveling representative asks you to have a free meal
You can know that you’ll be pressured for some deal
Get involved in anything with a stranger on the phone
And you can be certain that your money will be gone

Anytime you are assured any venture God will bless
You are going to be in for incredible cheat and distress
But really, it shouldn’t take a genius to be able to guess
That God doesn’t promote any business or its success

And this is a way that your money you are sure to lose:
If to give a loan to a friend or a relative you do choose
Not only will you never see your money anymore
The relationship will never again be as it was before
