How To Spell Love

Love ain’t just a four lettered word
Each speck of ink
hand in hand like intertwined fingers
Like the swift but subtle movements of a ballerina,
Her hands, like braille for blind
And sign for the deaf and dumb
She writes the letter L
Beauty and grace she recites
As her satin feet traces the floor, an O
A delicate effort on water,
Repercussions around the O.
Passion is her spotlight,
Silently Fluttering. Demandingly Felt.
She pirouettes
And now a V, we get.
She soars high off the ballet ground;
A dandelion waiting to liberate away
She lands on her pointy toes,
As she bows down humbly,
Ecstatic with an E.

- My heartbeat echoes
