How the Tree Grows

How The Tree Grows by Jonn'a Houck Just a seed that's planted in the midst of a forest. With no way to determine how life was before it fell in the soil. It's like being stranded, so without direction, he's not expected to be strong. But if he's a fighter, then nothing will ever get in the way of him reaching his goal. So through fierce storms with rage winds still trying to make a way through. Given everything to be more than just a seed and determination developed its roots. At first light, all seems amazing and even though he's so small in his stature. He seeks out the tallest tree and says, “I'm gonna be even bigger than this one.” Now many crows done crossed his path, even squirrels told jokes that made him mad. “You're just a wee big kiddo, one strike of lightning will tear you in half.” Still, he would never pay them much attention, he knew that every tree in the forest was different. Even though in essence they were all the same, he believes he was put here on a mission. So for many years, he carried on, facing the coldest winter's that life brought on. Until that day he opens up his eyes,  to see that his dream had taken form. There were no other tree's to block the sky, no crows to make fun of his size. He became much bigger than he imagined and it was at the moment he wanted to cry. He was home to many birds and nests, some monkeys would even swing across his branch. What made him smile was the fact he made it to him, he felt like he passed a test. There was no one to lend a hand to hold, no one to teach a seed to grow. It was only by faith he was able to achieve, one of the greatest stories ever told.
