How Sweet
Don't hold on to material things,
because that doesn't lead you
to righteousness, only pain.
The path of faith will be harder to fake,
and the weight on your shoulders
will be heavier to take.
We all make mistakes;
get down on your knees and repent
for He saved us for our benefit.
We can be gone tomorrow,
but would that stop our sinning?
It's so easy to take for granted all the
miracles that happen every day;
soiled crops with water drops, oxygen
off of trees and shade from leaves,
third rock from the sun.
He even gave songs to a blue jay
so it can give him all the glory.
Always put God first; never doubt His
mysterious ways, for it pays to serve God.
How sweet!
