How nice

Should doldrums turn to breeze, how nice, Desire, to ‘was’ from ‘is’, how nice. What ere was flash has flared to fire, If doubts fade soon to cease, how nice. If every crease of mind clears up, Peaceful waves to release, how nice. In heart are hidden hell’s intrigues, Should they bare, hers and his, how nice. It’s hard to forgo world for good, Yet, if we can with ease, how nice. _________________________________ Ghazal |14.04.2024| spiritual, peace Poet’s note: Based on a Gujarati Piece by Kiran Jogeedas (no translation)
