How Much You Mean

I was talking to my friend about you,
And how sweet you are to me.
I said that you are probably the best thing that's ever happened to me.
I know you'd say that its not true.
But it is.

You said that you're pretty sure today was a drag to me.
You wouldn't belive me until I pinky sweared you it wasn't.
And now I'm 5 hours away from leaving you,
Listening to sad songs.
And almost crying because of how much I already miss you.

That's how much you mean to me.

I am enjoying reading the very diverse poetry here this morning in my Soupland. Words pouring onto paper from poets souls. What a joy to be able to sit and read such wonderful poetry for awhile today. Have a very good day Sofia. Love, Carol
