How much we loved, we even turned the night into light

How much we loved, we even turned the night into light, Do you remember how the stars envied our warmth? How your stories, until the break of dawn, Opened the gates of my heart, teaching me the alphabet of love? My love for you, an endless ocean, Words are lost, only endless letters remain, The longing for you still drowns me, my eternal madness, I listen to your melody, and in silence, I recognize the notes... Our prayer, said late, at midnight, Now, as my sky is leaden, I repeat it alone... I know the way back is lost in the fog, Guilty without the hope of forgiveness, but how can I close the most beautiful chapter? Perhaps you think it's vain to still live in memories, That all our moments have dissipated like autumn leaves, But in my soul, yellow roses still bloom, And our music resonates, while your gaze from the photo escapes me. We met in a life that seems older, And now, someone else wears your love as a jewel, Such a rare, pure love, like there has never been, nor will there ever be, I ask for nothing... just want you to know this... And that regret accompanies me at every moment of existence. Thus, in this world where we have become a memory, I keep the essence of what we were, A sad love song, a melody that will never end, In my heart, our love, an eternal flame, still burns.
