How much is a human life worth?

How much is a human life worth?

How much is a human life worth?
My one is zero pounds, zero pence
I called with my smartphone to …
… to a university department of psychology

A professor replied in a sarcastic tone:
Sir Galyo, your life is nothing, zero pounds and zero pence
So, I am nothing, human life is nothing
My feelings, emotions, and breathing are nothing

Okay, hmmm, what can I do, serial killers follow me
And just killing, killing my life. My life. Why? I don’t know
They have murderous tendencies, are cruel, insensitive
My life is horror, my life is pain. Terrible. Dark fate.

What can I do?
With my life?
Heavy
Burden
I drag it
