How Many Times

How many times do we say to ourselves?
I will make a change in things even out of my range
Make what is unjust to be adjust
To listen to the peasant and really be pleasant
Be nice after a long day to the next on the line
Not to pine for what is most definitely not mine
             B:
How many times do we say these ourselves?
I will help the next person I see in distress
Lend a hand to an old man as he tries to cross
Treat my kid better than my parents did
Give my food away in a do good bid
Plant what I can, even an happiness seed
          C:
How many times do we say to ourselves?
I will not use power to hurt but do better
Tell the truth when I could easily lie
Work hard and not be distracted
A lot of times I have said all, and more
Will I fulfill any?
